Housing
Promoting the use of land for housing has been AATS’s largest area of work and we have obtained many planning permissions for residential development in all our operating areas.
Sustainable Communities
Promoting sustainable developments within the new planning framework and contributing to the social and economic growth of communities will be a fundamental objective for AATS in the coming years.
Neighbourhood Planning
AATS have been involved in many NDPs, and we have a good understanding of the processes involved and how to work with communities and the Town and Parish Councils who produce the Plans.
Retail
The introduction of mixed use schemes incorporating retail as part of the development is a sustainable means of meeting present day retail development needs. We are promoting several initiatives across the country.
Motorway & Motorist Service Areas
Following deregulation of motorway service areas by the Government in 1992, AATS responded to the opportunity created by identifying and promoting several sites on the motorway network.
Business Parks
At Mosborough in Sheffield, AATS purchased a large employment site, and following the relocation of the local sewage treatment works we have promoted a mixed use development that includes a Morrisons superstore, Arnold Laver’s national production plant and 250 houses.
